When travelling across vast distances by land, one of the things that I hate to do, but always end up doing, is to sit behind the steering wheel and do the driving. With myself giving my full attention to the business of driving, I can always feel envy to my passengers who have all the opportunity to see the beauty of the surroundings in their full glory and splendor.

Aside from constant gazing of the road ahead, I cannot really do anything except quick sidewards glances into something interesting outside. Perhaps, what I feel is totally crazy but I know that there is something inside of me that longs to see the drama and the poetry that roads give to the travellers. Needless to say, I am one of those who love to see pictures of roads that perfectly blend to their environment. A road somehow, gives life and music to a dull and eerie landscape making it a good subject of photography.
