Symmetry in photography is one where the elements of the other side of the photo is balanced by those that can be found on the other side. As you see it from the middle, you can observe that photo with a symmetrical composition is well balanced – with left side appearing as if it were in a mirror, with that on the right side or vice-versa; Or in another perspective, the up and down portions of the image.
In capturing symmetry in photography, a photographer has to find a vantage point or an angle where the image or impression of his subject, as it appears in his camera, is properly aligned. This depends on the skill of the photographers and on the shape of the subject as well.
