When looking at a decaying ruin or some dilapidated man made structure, one cannot help but wonder why such an edifice fall into a state of disrepair. There is always a reason and such is always tragic. From natural calamities, wars, economic downfall, old age, etc., many buildings, tunnels, bridges and many others now are left to rot in some places in the world. Once teeming with people, these spots are now  desolate with a haunting silence all around them. As man ceases to occupy the premises, you can notice that nature slowly reclaims the properties. Vegetation starts growing, rust begins to eat metallic objects, while the rain softens wood and even concrete. As the man-made objects degenerate, slowly, they become one with nature and in that state, they are great subjects of photography.
