Grunge web design can be defined as a method of creating web page designs and web elements that are a bit imperfect, slightly dirty and sloppy on purpose.
I think most people will agree, that there is something about hand touched and handmade. Something that is not technical or digital or created in a computer that can draw people’s attention and admiration. That’s probably why grunge has become a popular style in web design.
Some examples of grunge web design goes all out while others only put a dash of grunge somewhere on the page. If you have a website and you like to try out the grunge style, try to consider the design and elements that you like first. If you cannot think about a particular thing, then maybe you can determine what overall feeling or mood you are going to put into your design. It is of course always a good idea to look at other grunge websites for inspiration and for getting new ideas.
