We’ve probably all been told many times that it is not nice to play with the food. I therefore ask you not to be offended by these beautiful food art photos, which in many cases exceeds what one would think was possible with food. These food art photos are many stages over the otherwise beautiful volcanoes we all have tried to build with mashed potatoes as children – in fact, they are so beautiful that they belong in a serious art exhibition. This is in indeed not something you will find in a down town restaurant menu card or in any of your cook books.
Food art examples like this are a wonderful mix of good ingredients, imagination and stunning talent. If you are serious artist or photographer you also want to have your best photos presented online in an amazing way. It is actually not that hard if you choose to build you website using WordPress and one of the pre-designed Portfolio themes.

Carl Warner – Foodscapes
Carl Warner is a food artist who specializes in creating not just a single piece of art out of an edible material, but the whole set of artworks housed in an edible surface to form a landscape. Carl works with deliberately carved and molded shapes along with other intricate details and the result is amazing panoramic landscapes with beautiful details. Carl images can take up to two or three days to build and photograph and then a couple of days retouching and fine tuning the images to blend all the elements together.
If you want to see more of Carl Warner’s artworks, you can visit them at www.carlwarner.com. If you are interested with his prints you can go to Lenswall London or contact Carl directly on his website. *All images below are under copyright by Carl Warner.
